This is an extension workshop from “Innovative Pleating”. Participant are still introduced to the history of pleating and innovative pleating technique. Participants are given a grid pattern and a piece of sublimation dye heat transfer paper. Afterward, everyone is guided to add colour to the given pattern grid, and use prepared fabric mould to pleat coloured fabric.
This workshop is designed for around 15 participants and it is suitable for general public and even young children who are interested in colour palette.Cubic Colour workshop roughly takes 2 hours, including introduction to pleating, paper folding exercise, cubic pattern mapping and innovative pleating process.
